Honey Bear's teachers hold themselves to high standards of ethical behavior in early childhood education. They are sensitive, nurturing, and mature individuals who are able to relate to and have warm, supportive attitudes toward children, families, colleagues, and the community.

All of our highly-qualified teachers have excellent credentials:

• CDA (Child Development Associate Degree), Associate, and Bachelor Degrees in Early Childhood.
• Certifications: American Heart Association in Child CPR and American Red Cross in Pediatric First
  Aid. Also, Bridgeport Hospital Emergency Care Institute in Epi-Pen and Medication Administration (2 Staff).
• Continuing Education: Professional Development Workshops, over 20 hours annually per Teacher.

Minimum requirements for teachers are a C.D.A. & 12 Early Childhood credits from an accredited college. An Early Childhood Education degree and professional experience are preferred.
